The prices of our services do not include the $8.25 for the Smog Certificate* that will be generated as soon as your vehicle passes the inspection.
*An $8.25 Smog Check certificate fee is assessed on vehicles once they pass their Smog Check. The certification fee is paid to the station that issues the smog certificate, which in time is refunded to the BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair). The fee funds BAR’s administration of the Smog Check Program and consumer protection operations relating to the automotive repair and Smog Check industry.
Smog 805 Appointment Policy
We at Smog 805 know your day can be hectic, and you don't always have time to wait to have your smog done. That's why we offer convenient appointments so you can guarantee you will be in and out in just minutes, not hours. In order to streamline the process for you we have implemented the following policies.

Appointments must be made at least 4 hours advance. This gives us time to enter your vehicle information into our system and provide you with an estimate for service.

In order to keep your appointment, you must arrive within ten minutes of your appointment time. During busy times we will not be able to honor your original appointment if you arrive late.

On time arrival is paramount. If you are unable to arrive by your appointment time, we will consider your appointment missed and service you in a first come first serve basis.
